Life is good these days. I still need to find a job, but that will come as it comes. Swimming is ok...just ok though. At least it's not bad. Mr. McGuigan sent out an email today. Apparently someone told him that people drank on the foreign language trips (what a surprise) and he's acting all pissed off about it. Honestly, nobody got hurt, it wasn't illegal, half the people didn't sign the piece of paper that we were supposed to sign. I didn't even know it existed.
Anyway he called a meeting on June 20th. I'd like to see them try to punish 90% of the senior class. Well I guess they can get rid of senior privelages but who cares? There are less than 90 people in our class. Of the people that went on their trips, less than 10 did not drink. That's about 70-80 people out of 90 total who consumed some form of alcohol while overseas. At least it was legal there. Most of them do it here too where it's against the law.
In case you were wondering, I was one of the few who did not touch alcohol. I don't like the taste and I don't care for making a fool of myself without knowing it.
Anyway...I say that a lot don't I? Well I'm going bowling with my summer league team tonight. That should be fun. It's probably only going to be me Henry and Jeff though but whatever.
Ohhhh good news I guess... for those of you that didn't know, I met some people in Spain and we've actually been keeping in touch. That was the thing I wanted to do most while I was on the trip so that's cool. Ian suggested a eurotrip sometime in the near future, but in order to do that we have to do a roadtrip so as not to take the series out of order.
time to go...
