HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm chillin', as usual. I hope all of y'all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I spent my Christmas at home with my family. Home is Santa Fe, now. I had to make a move up here when I had no choice but. I had to make an adult decision and move for my and my kid's sake. There is nothing but my friends and good times for me in Cruces. I do miss both dearly, though.
I actually got to go out for New Year. I always stay home and celebrate with the fam. This usually envolves some kinda card game and no liquor. *sigh* This year I went to what has become my usual night spot here, Silva Lanes Karoake Bar. It's groovy. I'd never sung before, except in the car. But, I'm hooked. It's the only place I hang out when I do get a chance to get out.
So, I found two jobs in SF. Hot Topic and a sports store called Fanzz Sports Apparel. The sports store job I got onna counta my mom knows the manager. They're good friends. At first I didn't think I really wanted to work there. I know dick about sports and he looked kinda mean. But he turns out to be kind of a clown. He's a dick when he has to be, but otherwise... *shrug* Hot Topic was nice for a while, but after a couple of months I had to put in my two weeks 'cuz we're gonna be extra busy at Fanzz and I'm needed there more onna counta I'm asst. mgr. They begged me to stay and like two weeks later said they had to lay me off because of a conflict of interest. I was like, my other job is a fucking sports store. Whatever the fuck ever... their loss.
In other news.. I met a totally fantastic man. His name is Mark and I'll tell y'all more about him when I have more time. I've never had anyone treat me like he does. He's totally sweet with the kidos, too. I love him to death.
Well, I have access to Mark's computer, so I'll *fingers crossed* be updating more often.
