It's really happening! The Police performed their first live concert for the public in 24 years last night to glowing reviews. Reuters' story here. To be accurate, they actually played their first official full-length performance on Sunday night for 4000 fan club members (and they didn't invite me!) but last night was the first official public date. Now, if they can just hold it together until I get my two shows in. There's already a little acimony around the edges since Andy told Guitar magazine that the next logical step after the tour would be to record an album but Sting brushed that off saying that he just wanted to "have a blast for a year". I certainly hope it does result in a new album. *fanboy sigh*
In other news, we had a great time with our party, it was a total blast.
