Things Looking Up?
Well, I had my interview yesterday. Things looked very positive, and it's just what I've always wanted to do: crazy mad scientist stuff for audiences. I really hope I get this job, even if it's temporary before I leave for the Peace Corps.
I cooked a good borscht from scratch. I'm eating much of the leftovers now, and enjoying it.
I just got a call that the Conversational Spanish class I signed up for got cancelled due to not enough enrollment. I've contacted the teacher, who is a friend, and hopefully we can arrange tutoring. I also started attending Spanish mass at my church, and found I really enjoy it much better than the "stuffier" English mass.
I had to put my favorite cat to sleep today. I'm not sure I'm in a good mood right now.
