Convention Report Thingy
Goodness, I haven't done a report since...forever...@___@
(sorry about using my Fai icon again...I WANT ONE OF SHO, DARNIT~!)
Anyway.
Night before con was hectic. Sort of. Helped Haruhi finish up as much as she could, so I didn't get around to sewing my own shaz until late (early?). Soo I called Haruhi at 8 AM (cuz she told me to) and went to sleep afters :3
Got up later and packed, was ready to go by 12 noon.
Waited for Lilly (former Okage-Sama-De-Pro member) to arrive, but she got out late or something, so didn't arrive to my house until past 1 PM.
Went to go pick up Haruhi, who was...sort of dead. ^^; (<3)
Forgot to bring GPS, so Keiki had to go back to get directions.
(AUUUUUGH SORRRRY KEIKIII FOR MAKING YOU WAIIIIIT CRAIIIII ;___;)
Keiki was SPLENDIDLY dressed, bwahahahaha. I only had my Sho cosplay on ('cept I decided to wear a t-shirt for the ride). Best driving outfit EVER. She was a water faerie/sprite/thing, just randomly. LOL. And had kick-ass makeup to go with~
Ride up was nice. I really enjoy talking to people in the car ^__^ (minus Haruhi, cuz I forbade her from being awake.) Plus we all danced and sang to Keiki's ridiculous CD mixes. WOOT CARMELLEDANSEN
Stopped by a random Target along the way. I swear, there's a BAJILLION Targets between here and Sacramento O_o Anyway, we had fun walkin in because Keiki was, um, looking really epic. I had my awesome Sho hair going on, but it wasn't nearly as awesome as Keiki's getup XD
Haruhi was dressed as Kariya with his CRAAZZZY hair. Also awesome XD
Bought pizza&juice for Haruhi, because I hadn't made breakfast for her (warrrg I should've whilst I was waiting for Lilly to arrive ;__;) & Lilly and Keiki got some refreshments, too (Keiki got a blue icee so her tongue could match her outfit XDD).
I proved to be a difficult dog to feed. -__-;;
WE GET TO CON!
We meet up with Waterpuzzle and Bekalou (dressed as Rin and Saber, respectively).
Kariya and Lilly help paint me for Sho (thanks guys!). Lilly was Rhyme!
Kinda hang out but nothing was happening, so we checked in to our hotel and went to Taco Bell. In cosplay. FTW. XD (I wore my furry coat, though. I did not feel like displaying almost my entire front to random non-con people...)
WOOT FOOD.
And so ends Day 1.
Sort of.
Haruhi fell asleep before finishing the painting on her Celes underrobe D: I told her to get up to paint it and she said, "I'll be fine." But I think she was sleep-talking, hahahaha. She kidnapped MY Celes robe to use a blanket!!
After my shower, I finished painting the robes & added the Celes crest at places (you never SEE the Celes crest on Ashura-ou, but I assume that he must have it, even if it's hidden).
Then to bed!
Morning comes officially...momentary hecticness going on because Ashura's huge robe was having issues D: (A bad calculation on my part. My apologies, I should've sewn it before going to bed ;__; Or thought through the pattern more...)
Masq stuff alllll day...craftmanship judging (AUUUUUUUUGHHHHH I almost died when I saw that PikminLink & Sai were on the Panel D:), getting stalled for photos by random photographers, having to do "official" photos for con, getting lined up and seated, going over guidelines, etc etc...
MASQUERADE
A lot of really cute and silly skits. UM, THE SILENT HILL GROUP SCARED ME SOOOOO MUCH. Haruhi kept making fun of me D: (b-but they were SCARY-scary!!!)
As for our own performance...we did what we practiced. Ummm yeah...
We won BEST PERFORMANCE!
That's best skit & craftmanship. The judges were impressed that we all matched (used similar/same fabrics, had an overall color scheme, etc.). And we let them pet our fur, lol. Waterpuzzle kept stripping during craftmanship judging because she had on a bajillion layers XD
It was really bizarre when the judges were making announcements cuz, even before they announced Lunarlooop, EVERYONE pointed at us. NO JOKE. It was really embarressing, I even tried to hide under my chair!!! Um, Haruhi was insane and just laughed awkwardly.
Buuuut the announcement was made and there was an explosion of awesome WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

ANGSTANGSTANGSTANGSTANGSTANGSTLUNARLOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!
So we celebrated by eating cup-o-noodle in our hotel room XD (We were really tired. Actually, that was the first time we had food all day D:)
This was also kind of mandatory 'cuz we found out that Lilly was a cup-o-noodle virgin (GASP).
I spent most of our rest time getting into Sho again, though. This time with glow-in-the-dark makeup. SOHCAHTOA!!! So ZETTA awesome.
RAAAAVE!
By the time we got there and IN, there was only 1/2 hour left. The lights weren't dark enough for Haruhi (Kariya) and me (Sho) to glow ;___; People kept taking random photos of me during the rave, too, so I had to dance-dance-pose-dance XD (Oh, yeah, I was the taboo version of Sho, mmhm.)
Sunday was KUROSHITSUJI! For Haruhi and me anyway, haha. Grell and Sebastian!
Haruhi. Was waaaay too popular as Grell. And crazy. (STOP 'MOLESTICATING' THAT SEBASTIAN DOLL)
EEEEeeeeee Haruhi made my lapel pin and it was GORGEOUS (until it died. eheh). Randomly found two sets of Ciel/Sebastain! It was cool, we were all different versions. I was default Sebastian, there was a tutor-Sebastian, and there was a double-breasted-tailcoat-Sebastain (usually in art spreads). Got kidnapped by Conpix for photos, haha. (ARRUUUGH my makeup was stupid! I didn't do it far enough down on my neck, fooo. I thought my collar would cover more. Oh well, next time. And my contacts haven't arrived yet. MOAR FAIL.)
Then my Grell got kidnapped by one Ciel/Sebastian pair for the Cosplay Fashion Show! Oh noez!
The show as neat, though. Yay for poses :3
Hung around for more random pictures (Kuroshitsuji, Saber, Fai/Kuro), then we headed off. Good-bye, Sac-Anime! Had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. Mmmmmm~
Drive back: moar crazy soundtracks/dancing/singing in the car. At one point we called Bekalou/Fai (they were in a different car) and serenaded (badly) to them XD
Grell was busy the whole time making a Ciel doll in the backseat...and taunting me with it. -__-;; *STABS*
Once we're back to my house, I drive Lilly home. End~

I kicked Grell, but ended up just getting my leg groped -__-;

Overall, it was fun!! Even if was teeny weeny, hahaha (I'm used to large cons, so). I really liked how cosplay-oriented it was, though. Maybe I'll join up in the Cosplay Fashion Show next time? (TWEWY needs more appearances ;__;)
