Help! No Insurance!
I'm in college, so I'm still on my parents' insurance. My dad just got fired from his job, and I'm not going to have any health insurance starting next week. I know there are a decent number of people here who have navigated this before.
So, how do the drug companies assistance plans for meds work? I'm on Lamictal, Seroquel, and Cymbalta, and I have enough for a while, but I'm afraid I might run out before we can get insurance again.
And how do doctor's appointments work? My therapist has already said we can work something out, even if it means she doesn't get paid anything for a while. I'm more nervous about my pdoc, since she's knows me and my family less personally, and might not be so accommodating.
Last, does anyone know of any insurance plans I might be able to afford and get onto? I'm a full-time college student in LA, and I have a 30 hour a week part-time job (sadly enough, no benefits). I don't have much (or any) money to spare right now, so it would have to be really cheap.
