(no subject)
Still waiting....
About a week and a half ago the boy was hit by a car while riding his bike home from work. Ambulance to hospital, surgery on his arm, night in hospital-not fun. He'll be okay eventually, it couldve been ALOT worse. He gets his stitches out Tues, but he cant go back to work for awhile...Perfect timing now that I cant work either. UGH.
We've got a lawyer working on things with the insurance company, but it could be awhile before we see any $$.
Other than all of this, Im doing pretty good. Friend Greg just came out for a quick visit, bearing gifts of green chile sauce!!! Made me a big ol burrito earlier-hell yeah!(Apparently the East Coast has NO IDEA about tex-mex foods...Ive looked EVERYWHERE for green chile sauce to no avail...)
Also on the upside, the boy's family has been incredibly awesome with helping us out...his stepmom even came to paint the baby's room...its finally coming together. I post pics when its all done (thanks to his parents buying us a MUCH needed digital camera! YAY!)
I swear Im gonna marry this boy just so I can be part of his amazing family :)
