I am so happy that I had a few days off from school. Even though I have a 13 page paper looming over my head thats due thursday haha.
Anyways...On the actual Thanksgiving day, I went over to Nicks family and had dinner there. It was fun even though it was a small event...the food was good and I like spending time with family :) Then on Saturday my dad cooked dinner for 10 people...was going to be 11 but one of my brothers kids didn't come. The food was so good as usual. Our family seems to be growing by the second...and nick was the pleasant addition this year. And my brother decided to spring some news on everybody....
His wife is pregnant!!!! AND with TWINS!!!!! I am so happy!!! I can't even explain the excitement I have inside me!!!
I am FINALLY going to be an aunt haha. And to 2 kids thats crazy. I know that I am going to be the godmother of one of them which is so awesome. They are due on June 9th. My brother wants to wait to find out if they are boys or girls or one of each. His wife wants to know but she already has 2 girls. I hope that my brother gets at least one boy because thats just too many women in one house hahah (even the dog is a girl :P )
I was so shocked when I was serving the desert I dropped the ice cream scoop and me and Lori (his wife) screamed hahhah. Its just special because she was not able to have kids after her 2 and then she gets twins! They are fraternal so they will not be identical but thats still great. I got to look at the pictures and they are so tiny but the pictures are so clear its amazing!!
When my brother left he gave me a hug goodbye and he almost hurt me hah. And I lost it we both couldn't talk and all he said is that he is going to need my help. I am so close to my brother so I am just so happy for him.
The news just brightened my whole world. Made me look at what I have and I am so thankful. I can't believe how amazing my life is at this time after a lot of hard times it finally seems that nothing could go wrong. I am so happy to have nick and my family and new additions that I can finally look forward and leave my past...in the past.
Oh one last thing....Nick and I got a tree for our first christmas. I will post pics later :)
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
