I woke up yesterday morning and went directly to my computer (routine of mine). I saw that I had a msg on aim saying my friend that I went to elementary school with died in a motorcycle accident the night before. His name is Tony Valliere, and he was the brightest, nicest, funniest guy that I know. I haven't talked to him since jr. high due to the fact that he moved to Illinois. I would see him in pictures on my friend's facebook, and he looked like he couldn't be any happier. I wish some how I could go to the funeral, however it's taking place in the midwest which is money I don't have. It seems to me that everything around me is dying, maybe i'm just paying attention more to my surroundings. First my dads friend's mom, Joel's dog Martin, my roommate's dog, Heath, and Tony. geez.
Well on a lighter note, yesterday my friend Jess and I went to do some vintage shopping over by 41st called 'Hells Kitchen Market'. I bought a sick wool pinstripe suit that fits me like a glove for 5 bux. I got a few vintage belts for 25 cents.... crazy!! Jess got italian leather boots with intricate embroidery for only 20 dollars. After that I met up with my good friend Diana downtown over by NYU for a late lunch. We decided to go to this 50's style burger joint called Johnny Rockets. Right after we went right across the street to Crumbs bakery and had the biggest and fluffiest cupcakes. So long size 2 jeans... hellooo size 22. Being in the city you meet a lot of superficial people that don't really care to know you're business. When you talk with those kinds of people it's in you're best interest to do a lot of editing when you converse. It was wonderful to be with diana because I can be real and she's a great listener. It was seriously its like a breath of fresh air for me. After that we literally got a breath of fresh air, well nearly blew away from all the wind that was punching us in the face as we were walking to NYU. We said our goodbyes, but for some reason I really didn't want to go. I for some odd reason was almost magnetized to the campus, it's little shops, and scenery. NYU's campus has a park (washington square), a ton of coffee shops, bleeker st (best street for shops/restaurants ever) and scene in general is really neat. After my little promenade around the vicinity I went back to my room to make more music on Garageband because I'm extremely addicted. Later I met up with my friend's jess, christian, virginia and hung out until 1am making beautiful portraits in iphoto. I'm shottt (hence the title). gotta get ready for Anna Sui to make my schedule for helping with the show. Ew my first class starts tonight, ick...bye byes!
