(no subject)
everyone's getting sick
my ringworm is almost gone
got it from a dog at work
not really a big deal, just a pain in the butt since i seem to be allergic to the latex in bandaids
trying to keep it covered to prevent passing it to anyone else
my grandma has walking pneumonia
i think she had it last year too
she should be fine, on antibiotics
but every time she gets sick
or falls
i get nervous
i mean she's strong and maybe even more stubborn than I am
but she's 85
and she's my last grandparent left
she's the only grandparent that ive known really well
and have spent significant amounts of time with
it will be hard when her time comes
but im hoping its not for another like 20 years lol
my dad woke up with no voice and a cough on wednesday
his voice has come back some but the cough is still there
and today his eyes were all gunky
he has bronchitis and pink eye
today i woke up with a very mild cough
im keeping my fingers crossed that i wont ACTUALLY get sick
we'll see
last night i went to see vanilla ice
he only sang like a minute of ice, ice baby
disappointing
but the bartender liked me when the song came on
because i got excited
and started dancing
she thought i was very amusing
i mean i am
so it was justified
then we went over to flounders
it was more fun there than at captn funs
and not as insanely hot
we're under an excessive heat warning
shocker
this really is hell
i want to get out
im thinking about moving up to rhode island next year
i dont know if ill be able to
but i want to move away, and i always enjoy my time up there
and i always lose weight up there
so i think it's like a win-win
plus you dont have to be certified to be a vet tech
so i can continue doing the work i do now
maybe at an emergency clinic
or a large animal clinic
since there are more cattle farms up there than i see around here
on a completely different note
i met a guy the other night who i had an insta-crush on
his name is vince
and he's from philly
that's all i know about him
but he's cute, italian (but not a guido), is a really good dancer, and bypassed angela to talk to me
that never happens
i love angela, but she's beautiful and all the guys flock to her
so i tend to get looked over
it made me feel good to know that he saw me and not just her
anyway, i dont know anything else about him
so i may never see him again
