Finally, the storm is ending. The noises slowly get quieter, as if they're further away, and then it is very, very silent. A little too quiet, you know? Anyone who glances out a window won't see anything other than thick, dense fog, so much so that it's nigh-impossible to even get through it with a flashlight. That's pretty weird.
The town itself is damaged, as you might expect from a storm that heavy, with trees fallen across the roads and rubble everywhere, but most buildings are probably intact. Anyone with abilities won't feel them as strongly -- like their powers, too, are misted over, still present but not the same.
If you go outside, you might hear an earthly howl in the distance, but it fades so quickly. Must just be a wounded animal. Right?
