Sorry, Doctors. Against all logic, and why on earth would there be logic in this place, the elevator button 'L' does not open up to the lobby. This time, anyway. No, sir.
Today, this hour, this moment in time, the elevator button 'L' opens right up to the chapel. It's a fairly standard looking chapel, by all rights. Fairly tame, but for the sounds of screams that appear to be coming from all around them. Just beyond the stained glass windows. Perhaps.
There's a prayer box in the room, and there are statues. Writhing. Screaming. Statues.
So, of course Bowman, being who he is, leans riiiiight up to one and makes a sort of smiley smirk. "Well! Now that is fascinating, isn't it?" He even adjusts his glasses, because that is SOMETHING to look at.
