He nods cautiously at Elizabeth in greeting. "Ms...Weir?" He thinks he remembers her name. He never caught John's, and is ignoring him, although that likely won't work too well, given how pointedly he was staring at John two seconds ago.

John, blessedly, has no comment for this. At least -- not yet. He's apparently content to move possessively closer to Elizabeth (who leeeeeeans away from him a little) and make a face that is akin to a really smug tom cat.

He awkwardly sticks the hand back into his pocket. "I, ah, don't think I've seen you around since...well. Whatever those things were." He is not going to say 'zombies,' dammit. "Are you settling back in all right?"
He debates asking John's name--as long as he's being polite, he should, but Elizabeth looks as annoyed by him as anyone else, so he just gives John another wary sidelong glance.

"More or less," she says, after a suspicious pause during which John looks ANGELIC, okay, butter wouldn't fucking melt. "Claire and I got the studio tidied up again. I'm not sure what to do about the skylight...bad planning on my part."
"This place is making you hopeless," John mutters.
