don't mock what you don't understand [Wanda, St John, Ramon]
When they reach the Dam Site Inn, Nica's not exactly ecstatic, but it'll give her somewhere to have a shower and regroup. Also, she might get the opportunity to figure out more of this whole mystery that is St John -- the fact he's an asshole isn't a huge mystery, but Nica is easily fascinated by what she perceives as 'puzzles' (when they're people, at least), and sometimes her common sense is a little lacking.
Anyway, they get a suite -- St John has one room and she has the other; Nica will probably spend a while putting Ramon's stuff back in St John's room after he moves it out. Still, she finds time to shower and get changed -- she switches out the miniskirt and tight little shirt for a pair of low-slung grey yoga pants and a purple turtleneck. When she's satisfied that she hasn't misplaced any of her belongings (she doesn't think about the ones she left behind in New Zealand, things she'll probably never see again now), she puts everything she's not currently making use of back in her suitcase and goes out to sit in the hallway and brush her hair, to braid it while it's still damp from her shower.
She's humming Scotland the Brave while she does this.
