The walk

Gabriel has gone out walking a lot more lately. It's not unsurprising, really. Before, he was alone, and that was good. But now he has people he'd like to meet, and work he might be able to do. Maybe it wasn't too early to bother Mohinder about maybe doing some more testing. He's sure they could find something, they just have to keep looking ( Read more... )

Sup Gabriel, meet the blur of motion skidding by you, slowing to a smooth stop, throwing its hands in the air, aaaaaad babbling in a foreign language. Welcome to Romany!

This jabbering continues for just a few seconds before the tall (but NOT AS TALL AS YOU, DUDE) boy collects himself and switches to English, although he's still tossing his hands around. "What could possess you to be wandering alone! Wanda cannot be upset. You know! She told you! You must go back to the bar."

...uh.

Gabriel just stands there with his mouth hanging open, staring at Pietro. Wow, this one was like lighting. He wasn't hiding it, either.

The small, amused smile creeping into Gabriel's features breaks up when he realizes what the other man is saying. "But she didn't tell me that..." He would've remembered.

To the rest of it, however, he nods. He'd been planning on checking on her anyway. "I'll go back, though. I wouldn't want to upset her."

Pietro quirks his brows. He's not exactly confused, but generally when he hits people, they...look worse than this. And also aren't so smoothly acquiescent after. "You are not upset. That is good. I was right to hit you - my sister is not a prostitute, you know. Not to be pawed over in some common bar."

Never mind that that's his sister's 'common bar' he's talking about. That is IMMATERIAL.

"...you didn't hit me. Adam did." He feels the need to be clear on this point, and he's not shy about letting other people know that. "If you'd hit me, I think I'd be in worse shape," he adds with a small smile. He imagines the extra speed adds some power to a punch.

"And I would never paw at your sister. I have more respect than that." As long as he's being clear.
