I don't belieeeeeeve it!
My day off wasn't so restful as I planned. Ok I wanted to clean my room, squeeze in a trip to the sun bed. Get some painting done, some polishing... hoovering. AND I wanted to do some drawing and writing.
So I enjoyed my morning in bed and then set to in the afternoon on my room. Only at 3pm to pick up one of my ornaments to dust before shifting onto my bed. It slipped and where did it naturally land. Right smack bang on Bec's present. I just cried out in horror. Then after hearing the ping of something breaking n looked at my cat ornament. But oooh no ¬¬ it wasn’t damaged. My stomach was twisting something aweful as I unwrapped it only to find the damaged remains. Cue the snivels and the panicking and the fleeing out of the house, mug in tow, to rosebuds having rambled some garbled explanation down the phone to lady who owns the place. If she didn't know me and Suzu before, she certainly knows me now as I dashed about the place grabbing brushes and the like.
Bless her, she'd pre watered the mug for me and gave me her really good brush. And then let me have it for only £5. Coz these things happen! She said. *chus* So the rents are picking it up on Monday ><
I'm on my own tomorrow at work in the basement. eeek! And Sunday. And then there's just me and Michelle in on Monday. Said I'd work till 1 as Roy was a bit desperate and I wanna stay in his good books. And that’s with picking Becs up. Going to see Gran to wish her happy birthday...
We're having a manga night on the 27th June. EEEEK 2 weeks is soo not enough time what with our lack of stock and lack of space and lack of advertisement. I'm not organising it though. Andy is ¬¬ who seems to be having second thoughts on leaving. But yes. Tickets at £1. there will be pocky, games, cosplay and the like if anyones interested. Am going to try and do cosplay for it myself, if I can.
