'Sup chumps? It's been awhile since I updated huh? Time to kill some time at work and get to it.
So as I mentioned, the trip to Florida was bitchin'. In the past 2 weeks I have had more than my normal share of drinking fun. But it's been oh so enjoyable! I might have mentioned in the past that Sean re-connected with his old high school buddy Mike not too long ago. Mike and his pal Ziggy and a whole crowd of "regulars" love this bar here in the city called Red Rock West Saloon. I was invited to go with them a few times but I always fagged out and didn't go, because they didn't even leave the house until 11 or 12 at night, and then they'd come home at like 7 am, lolz. Sean said I had to check the place out, I'd love it, etc etc.
Then a few weeks ago we went to the Guns N' Roses concert on a Friday night (which killed, by the way. Axl is my hero) with Mike and Ziggy. The show ended at about 1 am and they wanted to go to Red Rock. I was wayyyy tired and my feet were killing me from the boots I was wearing, so I didn't want to go, but told Sean he might as well. But I missed the train home by a few minutes, and the next one wasn't for like 3 hours. I contemplated taking the subway and a taxi home but Sean said he didn't want me to do that. I was allllll cranky and MAD in general 'cos I was tired and also had pms. Lol. But they convinced me to go with them nonetheless.
We get there and there's a fucking retarded ugly hick bachelorette party dancing on the bar, the place was crowded...I'm immediately like "I hate this fucking place". They get drinks and I just have a soda. I'm pissed. Not at anyone in particular...just annoyed. I'm shooting my mouth off, saying how the place is filled with hoes and wannabe hipsters, the bartenders are slutty, lol all this shit. But something happened when I agreed to have JUST ONE BEER, and I lightened up. Then I had another beer and BOY WAS I HAVING FUN! I didn't get totally wasted but I was feeing good. Mike and Ziggy are great people...then we met up with Danielle, this girl Mike knew from friggin junior high...she's awesome. Other people....the "regulars"...and man it was great. The place is like a dirty biker bar (a la Coyote Ugly - if you have to make an analogy) and they play pretty good music. The bartenders are actually pretty hot, not slutty. Heh. We had a good time and then went home at like 4 am. Whew.
Then the next weekend we got invited to Ziggy's apartment for a Memorial Day bbq. Got there around 3...proceeded to get OBLITERATED in about 2 hours. I went from being the happiest drunk alive to the sickest, most miserable drunk half-dead. Ha. I puked all over the place in Ziggy's bathroom and then Ziggy put me on his bed to let me sleep. Sean looked after me and I finally felt "decent" enough to leave, around 8 pm. I didn't feel TOO guilty though, 'cos when I got downstairs, the host himself was passed out on the couch. HA! I had to call in sick to work the next day (but I did go in late after all). Too funny.
THEN, this past weekend we went to Red Rock on a Sunday for their annual Bike Run/Pig Roast. It rocked!!! All these bikers (and I mean real bikers - like Hells Angels n' shit) were there, all sorts of people...great great time. Made a bunch of friends, got totally wasted - BUT - I managed not to get sick! Woo! I guess I have to build up my tolerance if i'm gonna roll with these guys from now on ;) I even got drunk enough to shake my ass not once, but TWICE on the bar with this other chick Nicole and it was hilarious. I made buds with a biker named "Mad Dog", ate some bbq, had about 5 shots of I dunno what....ahhh good times. Here's some photos!!

Ahhhh meeemmmooooriesssss! We're going to the Unholy Alliance tour with those crazy cats next Friday (Slayer, Mastodon, other bands)...then we got invited to go PAINT BALLING in the Poconos in July! Can't wait!!!! It's gonna be me, Sean, Mike, Dani, Zig, Kelly and some other peeps camping out and then raising hell in the "Invasion of Normandy" event. Dude the last event they had there they said 1,700 people participated! It's going to be like a real war! In shirt, I'm gonna die. But, hell, it'll be FUN. I love new friends. I mean, I loooove the time Sean and I spend together and alone. Which is most of the time. But getting out together with these people is great. They may sound rowdy but the truth is, they're all cool people who are responsible when they gotta be...YAY.
