It's Martha's birthday, much as she would like to ignore this fact.

As she persists in being at the office, several things are delivered to that office during the day: flowers, chocolate, this pendant, and a note that reads:

Happy birthday! The champagne is on ice.
I'll wait as long as you need me to.

Martha is enormously touched, slightly embarrassed, and very, very grateful. Also very anxious to get home to thank him. :D
