The reports came in fast and furiously. One of ours fell yes, but so many of theirs that the walls flamed out in pleasure. We had won in the end. They were defeated. No longer to roam the Earth to protect the innocents. Hot damn, I was getting a bonus for this one. After all, I had sealed the deal. The partners would be in hyper drive soon, working to corrupt the fallen heroes.
Who made it all the way to hell.
Gotta love their boss don't you. Signing away souls that he really didn't own. All for some brat kid. Who in the end didn't get that lovely forever life. But we knew that. It was in the books.
Did they really think that the books up there had all the answers? That we would allow them to have a real chance?
Now I have to admit when Angel did the bite me to Hamilton I was even a little skeptical, thinking that he could possibly pull this thing off. Glad I was wrong. Of course my sending a dragon helped. Knew that big time hero boy couldn't resist trying to take out the biggest thing out there. Stroke of genius on my part.
It'll take them awhile to get into the groove. Figure out this isn't heaven.
Hell's not that bad, other than the night never ending. Work is always there. Sleep is rare and far between. We walk around in an exhausted haze most of the time. Although we do walk in style.
If they thought the demons upstairs were bad then they haven't a clue what's coming. The world just changed boys and girls, Let's see how they cope with their little lives now.
