London trip 12.-17.6.15
Heya~!
Decided to post something between the lyrics and I thought that the London trip I recently made with my sister (and which I mentioned here before) would be a good topic. I don't know if I should make a travelling themed post in the future as I have travelled a lot, mostly by motorbike with my dad but we'll see~
But - to the London trip! First the main reason to travel there was GENERATIONS' world tour and their 2nd concert in Europe was in there (1st one was in Paris but I have never been there before unlike in London which was pretty familiar to me already) but then my sister who again had never been in London wanted to come with me so the trip got longer. As the result we had time to explore London more and we even went to see Hurts! The story behind it is epic. We had planned to go and see The Phantom of the Opera on 16th of June and my sister knew that. Still she participated (more like as a joke to see if she would win) in a lottery to win two tickets to Hurts' concert in Scala London on that very same evening... Well, you can guess what happened. She indeed won the damn tickets! I was damn pissed cuz we already had bought the tickets to the musical (and you couldn't cancel them) but to win concert tickets is like a once in a lifetime chance and Hurts isn't that bad (they are one of the very few bands/artists I can actually listen to apart from J-music..) so I wanted to see them too. So in the end we went to their concert (for free! x3) and even managed to re-sell the musical tickets so it was a win-win! ^u^
Before the Hurts concert we also saw kame_chameleon for over 6 hours. We went to the London Eye and London Dungeon and ate delicious sushi! It was a very nice and funny day :-3 The other places/tours we went to were London by Night, British Museum, Jack the Ripper tour, Harry Potter & Warner Bros. Studio tour and Bend it like Beckham musical at Phoenix Theatre. Our feet hurt so badly every evening after the day of walking xD
And now some pictures along the trip, won't post much, just the very best ones :)
On the first day when we arrived we had London by Night tour, it was lovely. London by night is veeery beautiful! You should definetely see the popular monuments in night light too~
Second day was the concert day! Met so many great people and everyone were so kind! Most of the audience was Japanese (true fans hehe) so you could stand on your own spot and no one pushed you even once. If you went somewhere from the line you could come back to your place (even in the venue!) and no one whined. The security guys gave us water during the break and after the concert, it was so cute! *u* And after the concert we could wait for GENE to go to their minibus! I wish concerts in Finland would be the same... Here you get crushed and squashed during the concert, it's good if you don't fall, people are usually mean and punch you many times and don't care shit about what happens and you're not allowed to wait the band or artist after the concert, you must leave the venue immediately -__-" If you can, avoid concerts in Finland...
Great concert indeed :'3 That day (13th) was also Hayato's 20th birthday so we sang to him and had paper hearts with his name's kanji in it. One fan had also made super cute bday card to him where all the fans could write bday wishes (--: I hope GENE comes soon back to Europe!
Third day started with British Museum (checked only the Egyptian stuff) and we got well time to do shopping before Jack the Ripper tour in the evening, it was very interesting and the guide was awesome. It's a real shame that no one still knows who Jack the Ripper was ;/
On 4th day we went to the Harry Potter & Warner Bros. Studio tour, it was cool to see the sets, outfits and all. The HP music in the background the whole time was nice :'3 In the evening we went to see the musical Bend it like Beckham, it was really good & funny, I warmly recommend it. We saw Jamie Campbell-Bower singing there too x3

Last whole day was the Eye and Dungeon + Hurts day. Final day before leaving we spent shopping~
So all in all this trip was very rewarding and exhausting xD But worth everything. Next post after few lyrics might be about this summer cottage where I am at the moment and write from, it's very inspirational and source of many fic ideas as well as a dear place to me and my family (: So see ya later folks~!
