being a server is terrible
you wind up with impossibly sore joints and limbs and everything... i think im getting a sore throat...
sometimes i get compliments on my serving and then standard tips anyways which is dumb... at least one time i made a phatty 30 buck tip from some smooth pimps ...
anyways, yeah... we get tiny sections and we're supposed to try to make up for it by giving better service and getting huge tips... sometimes i fuck up, sometimes im perfect and i get a standard tip anyways... its a pretty hard job to do well at.... argh.. unbelievable number of things to memorize, the legwork is insane, the stress and the pressure is on like mad sometimes, we have like 4 owners watchin everything too... theres no point in me explaining all the ins and outs of everything but suffice to say its difficult work to do all day long, day in and day out... i dont even know why i work there, it just happened so quick.. i guess ill stick with it though... i just want to stick through all the hard parts until i start getting used to it and it becomes easier... then after ive proven that i can handle it to myself, if i still dont like it, ill quit.. whatever ever.
at least i get to meet some interesting people
working i dont get to see nearly enough of my other friends though, so that sucks.... i work splits non stop too... work work work...
