bus 188
recently, i took bus 188 frm cck to harbourfront. hve always found it a pleasure to sit back on a bus journey and look out of the window esp when i'm not in a hurry.
some of the places which i passed: the new civil defence HQ jus outside Teck Whye. (cool new bldg)
the bus stop outside my sec sch. (i saw a canteen auntie board the bus. it has been six yrs since graduation and i can still recognise her)
chee keong's place. (i used to walk home wif him after sch in sec one. time to jio him out for a cuppa as promised)
a construction tat's in progress. (a recreation club for civil servants near Bird's place)
my previous home in bt batok. (spent my first 16 yrs there)
past cowan's, yongliang's, hanxin's and jingchun's place (brought back lotsa memories in pri n sec sch days)
IMM (where i worked part time during poly)
NUS and its UCC (watched lynxx's performance there in 2003. hope to study there in a few yrs time)
SP's maritime academy (learnt canoeing there in 2000 wif alvin, aaron n mark)
private houses (perhaps my dream home?)
har paw villa (now defunct)
pasir panjang ferry terminal (my recent visit to Bukom)
seah imm food centre (gathered there wif fellow signallers for sentosa trip during last oct)
harbourfront (ex WTC)(used to pass it when i walk in to sentosa. a place where annual book fairs were held. anything else i left out??)
it's always nice to look backwards sometimes. to reminisce events. for somehow in one way or other, they helped shape our subconscious mind n made us what we are now today.
