went past PLC. saw a LBV hanging outside a bunk. the sight brings back memories of cheong sua where after outfield everyone will be cleaning their arms, washing dried mud off their boots, fieldpack, stores and hanging them out to dry.
fond memories indeed. one reason why i write is just in case i do lose my memory sometime in the future, i hope some kind soul can bring me here to read my entries.
next stop was west mall. went to Green Adventure but was told the auntie is now at jurong point. have to go there to get the sewing done. went to Sports Connection. they are having a discount on Nalgene bottles. got one which is BPA free. hopefully no more toxins leaching into my drinking water from the bottle.
went bt panjang plaza for dinner with B. B is one of my buddies in NS. he looked really worn out and stressed after countless of late nights in office. i can sort of understand his situation. afterall we are employees working to put food on the table. i really hope that we enjoy delayed gratification later on in life. slog now, enjoy later.
i am not complaining but life is afterall unfair. it is a fact we all know. you can see the row of sports cars and the crowded bars at clarke quay on friday and saturday nights. what is the difference between those people out there and us? we know it inside our hearts.
i do not crave to keep up with the jones. i only want to be free to do what i want to do without having to worry about money. need more training in this aspect.
