Recent Stranger
I don't know if anyone else has perused the "Ben Exworthy" issue of The Stranger or not yet, but I'm guessing that many of the people that have the misfortune of reading my rather sparse blog have. Let me just say that I think it's just awful. I cannot stand self promoters, and the current issue of The Stranger is the most egregious case of self promotion I think I've ever seen, outside of the garbage that comes out of Hollywood. Ben Exworthy reminds me of this guy I know, David Shuey. Only, David Shuey doesn't have 36 million dollars and can't spend $12,000 to buy himself an issue of The Stranger.
So, I sent the Stranger an email. It read, "Worst. Issue. Ever. Even my parakeets refused to use it. Poor birds, now they're constipated."
Heh heh. Little did I realize I would get an email from Dan Savage himself that read, "I'm sorry about your birds."
*chuckle*
I'm oddly proud of myself. I hope they print my letter in next week's issue. I'll be so proud of my parakeets.
