MTAC was wild this year. Even though I really didn't go to any of the events at the con.
Rode up Thursday night with Lauren and Cody. We checked into our room and looked around the hotel. Nothing really happened that night.
Friday we got up around 9:30 and went to breakfast in the hotel lobby. We went and got our badges and walked around a bit. Then we ran into Justin and Laraye, and spent the next hour sitting in the hall talking shit about everyone we saw. Fun Times! Then we went to the dealers room which was entirely too crowded and cramped. I did end up buying a KoRilakuma plushie though.
Then... at some point I went to the first para panel and learned fireball. I really wasn't in a para mood, so I left during the second panel. It was about 4:30 at this point and I was really bored, so I proceeded to go back to my room and start drinking really early. Around 5:30 I was pretty wasted and we went out to the courtyard where a lovely game of yaoi twister was going on. I played about 7 rounds of drunken yaoi twister, and got the number of this cute pocket asian. Then Justin ,Laraye and I went to the lobby and got some sandwich wraps which were awesome, but probably only because we were really drunk. Not too sure what happened after that... I know I watched the last of the para battle, and went to the deco panel. Then... I hung out with pocket Asian for a while. The next thing I remember is standing in line for the pole dancing panel, which once it got started was SCARY! I saw enough plump and front butt and plumbers ass for a lifetime! Then Laraye and I found a circle of drunk people, and Matt happened to be there. We traumatized them with stories about some nasty people that we know.
I went to bed early-ish that night, I think I was in bed by 2:30.
Saturday we got up around 9:00 and I started putting on my Hunter costume, Cass and Dee came to my room and we all went outside to the RO photoshoot together! That was so much fun! I've never done cosplay with a big group of people like that, but I'll have to make sure to do it again sometime.
I walked around a bit, but I got pretty hot so I went and changed into more comfortable clothes. Then Adam and I stood in line to watch Rin and Grimmy in the fashion show. That was pretty cool, except that there were way too many lolita girls and not enough people rocking gal fashion. Then we went back to the room and hung out with random people outside in the courtyard, while listening to this stupid "shake yo booty" event that was going on out there. We actually waited until about 8 to start drinking... and it was all downhill from there. I was drunkenly filming the para-expo. Then I went to Garret and Alan's room for a while... Uhm somehow I ended up at the Rave and danced with Saxon most of the time... but at one point I was dancing with like 5 different people.
I got to see Mark and Johnathan after that, they were helping Jamie and Taco who were both TOE UP! I got to see vomit in a zip lock bag...and there was also apparently some other drama that I did my best to stay out of.
There is a lot more that happened, but I'm tired of writing this. So I'll make a part 2 later, and upload pictures and the 2 hours of video footage that I have.
