Medical fun
Went to the doctor yesterday for ickiness with my finger for stiffness, sensitivity and then, that day, lots of swelling. Some poking and (ew) draining later, I'm on antibiotics for the next week. Fun.
Today, got up ass early in the morning to go see my cardiologist. My heart's fine, I was just born with a benign heart murmur that they like to do ECG's of once every one or two years. Today there was no chest x-ray, but this ECG did come with an ultrasound portion. Got to lay back and be poked and prodded with a goopy ultrasound wand for an hour. Fun.
Friday I go back to see the doctor from yesterday, for a longer appointment to address some other issues I've been kind of avoiding for a while. That should be good, in the long run.
Someone in University Medical billing is doing a little jig just for me right now.
