1541 - "I tried to do handstands for you."
I really like answering Anthony's phone. I put on my best professional phone voice and say "Hi, this is Anthony's phone, how may I help you?" But I only do it when people I know are calling.
The poor kitty had herself dragged around for nothing yesterday. The vet poked and manhandled her a bunch while she hissed and was her generally angry self. Then he decided that he couldn't do anything without her bladder being full so he sent Anthony and the kitty home to get her to drink. But of course she's all stressed out by this point and has NO interest in water at all.
So they've decided to try again today with a different vet. They also wanted a stool sample which she helpfully left on the bed for me (thanks.) Anthony's going to take her back after work.
I had the opportunity to meet Jack Layton today!
I figure that required an exclamation point because people are supposed to be excited about a potential encounter with someone who may be the future PM of Canada. Except that I was running late for work and he chose to pounce on potential voters by standing just outside the escalators in the Burrard Skytrain station. All I can really tell you is that he looks and sounds exactly the same as he does on TV.
I have no idea what I would have done if I wasn't rushing off to work. Probably the same thing. Layton is uninteresting to me.
Speaking of the NDP, you wouldn't know that Layton ISN'T running in my riding based on the campaign posters. He's all over them. It's very weird.
