Ranting

Okay, am currently a little annoyed, since the computer has decided to mess with my Radiohead CD and keeps skipping. Grr! Especially since I'm a total Radiohead mood, and I want to listen to the bloody songs! Argh!

You know, I managed to watch the new Prisoner of Azkaban trailer, and, although it looks great, the more of the trailers I see, the ( Read more... )

As for the kids, I don't think I'll ever be happy so long as I'm comparing them to the books.

You see, before I didn't really have any issues with them, but now I think I might do. I don't know. Maybe I was just in a funny mood at the time.

Speaking of actors, someone mentioned to me (in a review - I love reviews!) that Sean Biggerstaff was in PoA - the film. I think I may have to go and investigate that. That will definitely cheer me up! *g*

I think HP & PoA [the film] will probably grow on me. Chamber of Secrets has definitely done that, as has Philosopher's Stone, which I thought was far too long and a bit dull initially. Fingers crossed it does.

As for DA in the Secret Craft, he was the best bit of the movie! Honestly, it's like one of those fics you were talking about - good idea, but pretty lousy execution! When I was capping it, I realised that they used this camera technique that involved a lot of camera swaying. I hadn't noticed it when I watched the film, which I suppose was the point, but because I was just looking at the screen when I was capping, it made me feel slightly ill! *g*

Although, of course, DA put a stop to that! *g* I have to say, it was a little weird. I was like: "OMG, he just laughed. And grinned! That's just odd!" *g*

*dies laughing* I love your reactions to DA. *g*

I can understand your reaction to him laughing etc. It's really odd, when an actor plays a character that acts completely different to the character you know him as.

It was a little odd, especially since he looked pretty much how he did in Alias - Season 1 (minus the tank top and the stupid trousers/shorts!). After that, I watched some Season One Alias, and that was weird as well! I kept expecting Sark to laugh and point at someone! *g*

That's the worst bit! When you back to the 'original' character and you now thinks that he's acting weird!

When Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) first appeared on Voyager I had issues. I was already watching Dark Skies at that time and just before I saw JR on Voyager, she started appearing in Dark Skies. The worst bit was that she had a Russian accent in Dark Skies, so for the longest time I expected Seven to talk with a Russian accent (and found it odd when she didn't), since I'd seen JR in Dark Skies first...

Lol! Well, DA has an American accent in The Secret Craft, but I didn't have the volume up. And, as far as I remember, he doesn't actually say much, he just walks around, and looks threatening! *g*
