For posterity's sake

Several years ago I came up with a short tune that I sometimes refer to as the Rulistan Round. The name reflects first that the original couple of verses are in Tyrwann and are directly related to the philosophical system of the Rulzhai vi dar Islanael Tagra (Brothers of the Radiant Path) from my long-in-the-works epic novel:
1.Orae Rulzha vi dar Islanael Tagra. x2 (I am a Brother of the Radiant Path)
Dar tagra er vlandael zan amonilum. x2 (The path that leads to enlightenment)
2.Orae shelsu han zun dar mai oraen lonz. x2 (I shall follow it all the days of my life)
Dar zria ix oraed idmazarai. x2 (The joy within me is without end)

and second that it could be sung in a round format if you had more than one person participating.

Shortly after Liam was born I started making up some new verses that related to him at particular stages of development, and certain folks have been asking me to post them for some time now. Here then are the existing verses of Liam's Song along with when approximately they were added:
1. Our little Liam is a beautiful boy. x2
He has brought us happiness and joy. x2
(About a week after he was born, Aug. 2009)
2. News of his cuteness has spread far across the land. x2
Oh how I love to hold his little hand. x2
(Around the same time as verse 1)
3. When Liam burps he makes a really funny face. x2
And when he comes into a room he lights up the place. x2
(Around 2 months old, when he began making said face, Oct. 2009)
4. On the changing table Liam Likes to eat his toes. x2
And when he eats his food some will go up his nose. x2
(Shortly after he began eating baby food, Jan 2010)
5. On the airplane to Las Vegas Liam earned his wings. x2
And he likes to push the buttons on his phone when it rings. x2
(Las Vegas trip, Memorial Day 2010)
6. At breakfast, lunch, and dinner Liam tells us when he's done. x2
Every day with our boy is so awesome and fun. x2
(As I've been writing this, Feb. 2011)

That's all for now, but will add to this as more verses are created.

music, liam
