when i argue i see shapes

'work' now definitely has inverted commas around it. just hanging around. time is passing, at the minute, at least it isn't dragging along. when i first came here i was scared of drifting off to sleep (as it basically happened a couple of helpless times) but now i've adapted, or just got to avoiding that. i've been upstairs (in the galleries which are closed off to the public, as we're in between exhibitions) a couple of times this week. it's not much good for feeling like you've done a days work, or for meeting people. but it is good for reading a book. today as well as london orbital i've also brought up my rough guide.
so, it's the weekend, but that really doesn't matter, and it won't as long as i'm in this job. ah, you get a couple of days off a week, but it's not always the weekend. not that it matters. frankly it'll be nice to avoid the tourists. plenty of those, just maybe one or two less on the weekdays. who cares, the buses seem pretty much the same everyday.

jude got knocked out when boom came across -well, she got concussion, and had to stay overnight in hospital one night. she's almost back to normal again now, and will be away sailing again today if she feels alright. i've been able to finish writing up the three moa essays, finally, which just leaves about three (or four, or five) letters as well as the photos from the films i'd finished in the midlands. it's hard to remember that i was there a month ago -hard to think that i've been here almost a month, that is. feels like a couple of weeks, no more.
