think again

antonia, in the city, and i have been trying to arrange meeting as regards the flatsharing thing. first she asked about tomorrow evening but i said no, what about saturday afternoon and she says no, what about saturday afternoon and i said no, what about monday afternoon and she says no, what about saturday late morning.
i was about to say no. it seemed like the only sensible thing in the world to do. now, however, i've booked the tickets to go. getting there will probably involve a taxi since i'll need to be at the station for 5:40 -and this being a village 5 miles from the station doesn't help.
still, i'll get there.
she's studying a history of art, so in one of the texts i sent i said i'd been to see some of andy warhol's works today. she sounded enthusiastic about that in her reply, so that's cool. made me happy for a couple of minutes.
since i figured i'd spend most of the day in the city i figured i could go to see sandie, in the suburbs, in the afternoon. to be arranged.
the week is fast disappearing. fast. gardening one day, visit to a trust place (since if it wasn't then, it never would be) the next, then volunteering at attingham yesterday. off to a couple of galleries today, and to do a first aid course with the aim of picking up a certificate for my cv tomorrow.
then edinburgh saturday, and my last (standard) workday with our local volunteers on sunday if i'm still alive and well. alive and well i don't know. by rights i should be put in a home.
it should be said that i'm keeping it a secret from the volunteer group; i'm hoping they can have a game in the newsletter, pin the donkey on the tail/i mean the tail on the donkey. just have the group take guesses at where i've got a job/where i'm moving to. so long as no one else says about it..
