Inspiration: "Sakamichi no Melody". It's more about the music than about lyrics, but here are the translated lyrics, too, if you are interested [click].

Well, that's how I see "Sakamichi no Melody" - bright and cheerful colours of the summer time. Looks different from what I usually draw, doesn't it? ^^; It was a bit painful to draw, as I hadn't used such a style in ages >.>; I think I like my semi-realistic style more. orz
Anyway, I figured I could draw a series of pictures which would be a free interpretation of songs. This is the first one. I had some idea of what it should look like, but the final piece is nothing like the initial idea. Save for the colours maybe.
