Spoilers for Lost to follow.
I finally got caught up on the Lost I've been missing. Plenty of Sayid decisive action, which pretty much makes him among my current favorite characters because SCENES INVOLVING HIM HAVE EXPLANATORY TRENDS.
Sayid's accomplishments thus far:
-Storming the boat.
-Fixing the radio with his magic technical powers. HANDY, THOSE.
-Killing people in the future but being human enough to love.
-Arranging the trade with Locke.
-Forcing Michael's story out. Driving force of the episode, esp. since he proceeded in:
-Turning Michael in to the captain, which can only result in further explanation come the season's return.
Disappointments:
Locke failing to get things out of Ben. Couldn't he see that Ben talked when he thought his life was actually in danger? A simple "Every day you say something useful is a day you get to live" ought to suffice.
Though I did love the "What is the monster?"
Ben is seriously one of the most chilling villains evar.
Jin's maybe death episode? Meh.
In general, there's been a cast reduction. Alas, poor Rousseau. I hope Alex finally stops trusting her dad--too late to really do anything about it, I'm sure she's now in the hands of Ben's people again.
I don't think I'd leave Ben alive.
