College education requires a lot of writing. Even if you are in an art course, you still have to write a couple of essays. After examining
artistic curiosity (or rather lack of it in indie/"unsigned" musicians who use online resources to showcase their works), I moved on to comparing artists' and musicians' attitude in this sense.

Unlike indie musicians, amateur artists may be more open to discussing and appreciating each other's work. Perhaps it's because visual art is easier to talk about? Here's my conclusions:
1. Visual art, such as paintings or drawings, can be more readily accessible and easier to interpret compared to music. The visual nature of art allows for immediate visual cues that people can discuss, such as colors, composition, and technique. This makes it easier for amateur artists to engage in conversations and provide feedback.
In contrast, music often requires active listening and can be more challenging to discuss casually.
2. Artistic communities: Amateur artists are often part of local art communities and workshops, where they connect with other artists who share similar interests and passions. So when they join online groups, they bring in this habit of appreciating other people's work.
Such artistic communities provide a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages artists to engage with each other and provide feedback. Musicians would benefit from having something similar.
