The thing I worry about is when girls get wasted, start hitting on a guy, they end up having consensual sex, then she reports him for rape. I've seen it happen to people; so I am always kinda wary when girls say they were raped after getting drunk.

the question there is "how drunk do you have to be before you are unable to legally consent?" if she's too drunk to drive, she's too drunk to consent to sex, simple as that. IMO anyway.

i've never heard it put quite like that before. that's interesting.
there is much debate going on, in britain i think, right now, about changing/setting a law about the 'line' that is crossed with drunkenness and when it means consent cannot be given.
i seem incoherent but you know what i mean.

i think if anyone is wasted, sex shouldn't be being had. i've done things drunk that i really felt dirty about the next day & i don't really consider what happened to be rape, but i sure did feel violated anyway.

if someone gets drunk & wants to make out with another person, & the other person takes it further, could it not be that the sex they end up having isn't really consentual, because the wasted party is too drunk to really make that kind of decision?

basically, if you have sex BECAUSE you're drunk, you probably didn't really want that sex.

if being accused of rape by someone who was wasted & seemed to want it the night before is a concern, make it a rule not to sleep with wasted people. if you still want to sleep together when you're sober, then go for it. it's not fun to miss an opportunity to get laid, but it's a lot better than someone feeling violated & someone else being charged.

i happen to be an expert in experiencing "the spectrum of sketch" involving alcohol and sex. and i have been near suicidal before in trying to figure out which of the events "counted" as rape when i finally started owning that at least the one in which i said no and passed out was. the point was that i felt disgusting about all the things that occured (all in a very short period of time because i kept getting drunk to forget about the previous event and it would happen again with someone else ( ... )
