Kaiser is already on my shit list and this afternoon didn't help.
I had a 3:00 ultrasound in which I needed to have a full bladder. I was doing a pee walk before I even signed in at 10 to 3. "Do you have a full bladder?"the receptionist asked. "Yes" I groaned. I found a seat and sat sideways with my legs crossed in an attempt to keep from having an accident. A technition came through the double doors and called the names of the six or seven other patients waiting along with me. No Melissa Church Barrow called out so I hunkered down and gave the wait another 5 minutes. Not a moment later another tech called my name and began to appologize, explaining that another dept was supposed to cancel my 3 o'clock ultrasound today. She gave me a free parking voucher and tried to get me to wait while she went in back to get me a 5 dollar coupon for the hospital cafe. All I needed was a toilet, I urgently explained to her.
By the time I sat down on the toilet my pee had gone into full protest mode.
It finally came out but it hurt.
I missed an hours pay of work and they want to give me a 5 dollar coupon?
