Minoan DNA

Blogger Rita Roberts discusses ancient Minoan DNA. A recent study of Minoan bones unearthed from caves on the Lassithi Plateau reveal that Minoans of 3,500 years ago have the greatest genetic affinities with Europeans from Sardinia, Iberia, and northern Europe.

But where did the Neolithic Cretans originally come from? That's the question. I'm still holding out for Anatolia, Cyprus, and Rhodes.
