I redressed last year's Mycenaean Princess as the Mykenaia, the Lady of Mycenae, a partial fresco found in the Mycenae Cult House.
Her bodice is a bit simpler in construction than the original, and the skirts were completely from imagination. The golden-orange silk and greenish-gray cotton of the underskirt were hand-dyed. I worry about those fringes being too Native American.
The doll coming in January will probably be dressed as one of the Minoan Blue Ladies.
