I managed to finish one of my two remaining assignments today and by school run time I was halfway through the final one. Hopefully the second half won't take too long.
Early afternoon I decided to go to Tesco for the weekly grocery shop and thought once it was done I would call at the Direct desk to see if my iPod touch had arrived even though the order email had said to collect it after 4. In the event, I was standing in the cheese aisle when my mobile rang and it was the lady on the Tesco Direct desk to tell me it was there - brilliant!
Got the groceries, collected the iPod and excitedly brought it home for a play. I'm getting to grips with it quite quickly I think. Just downloading free apps and games only for now but there are plenty of those and I'm already rather addicted to Angry Birds Lite!
This evening we've all been out to One's school for the summer concert. She sang in the choir and played her violin with string group. The whole concert was great - there's a lot of talent in the school and we all enjoyed it.
Home now and all the kids went straight to bed. I'm stretched out on the sofa typing this on the touch; the on screen keyboard is taking a bit of getting used to but this is a good way to practise, and I have half an eye on the 'underage and having sex' programme on channel 4 which is fascinating and terrifying in equal measure!
Tomorrow One is off school apart from a review appointment with her form tutor which I will go to as well. I still have to get up and take the other two to school though!
