(no subject)
Tim has set up the brazier we bought from Aldi in the summer, and we have a lovely fire going in the back yard! The children are all outside with him watching it, and I am inside cooking up sausages and burgers ready for us to eat out there, whilst singing loudly along to the radio, it's great!
I've made apple crumble too and that will be going in the oven soon. Tim's bought marshmallows which we will be able to toast later when the fire has died down. He also bought very very reduced halloween costumes from Tesco so the kids are all dressed up and I have got a witch's hat!!
As a family we have hardly been together at all this half term, so we're making the most of some family time together now. Tim's bought sparklers too; the children don't know about those yet - they're going to be so excited!
In other news, I woke up this morning with nasty period pains and a migraine. Bah. I was stewarding at church so filled myself up with drugs and floated through the service on a happy sea of painkillers! The rest of the family went to St Andrew's and enjoyed the family service there, and Tim recorded the holiday club songs on his mp3 recorder for me, so I could listen to them and not feel like I had competely missed out. :-D
