Clothes tally BEFORE decluttering

Sep 25, 2008 11:13

Well my estimates in my previous posts were just that, estimates.

Little Two actually appears to own (excluding all school uniform, Cub uniform, and anything that happens to be in the wash):

9 shirts

7 long sleeved T shirts

11 short sleeved T shirts

12 pairs of trousers

10 pairs of shorts.

Which given that he is at school five days a week, and wearing uniform during that time, seems rather excessive to me. Given that all of his clothes usually end up in a big dirty heap on his floor and never make it to the washing basket (because they can't walk there by themselves, fancy that! *grin*), I feel that fewer clothes means smaller piles before he realises he has no clothes left, and that maybe putting them in the wash so I can deal with them might be A Plan.

Watch this space and I will update with what he has left after I've done the decluttering thing! And really I should hang out the first load of washing and put in the second, shouldn't I? Then I can count what else belonging to him is in the wash and bear it in mind.

decluttering, clothes, little two
