it seems to me that analogies are the hardest part of the verbal part of the GRE. complete the sentence is probably the easiest for me. but i have to admit, the kaplan study guide is really helpful. great strategies for narrowing down answers and lots of practice so i'll know what i'm in for. good stuff.

so. i thought since i was studying, i'd share on here. i put in some of the sample questions from my book. they're harder questions. at least, i thought they were challenging:) let me explain the three types of questions below. the first type, where there's a word:word are called analogy questions. you know. "word is to word as word is to word" stuff. cookie is to cookiejar as penny is to piggybank or whatever. the second type is completing the sentence. that's fairly self-explanitory i think. the third type is antonymn. you just pick the word that's the antonymn (opposite) of the one listed. no cheating and looking words up before answering.
