planning parties
so at the party i'm holding for all 250 of my students saturday, what should we do? it'll be outdoors, on this platform in the middle of campus. i figure i should bring food of some sort. also, i'll play music, because many of them love dancing. and they keep asking what games we'll play. games?? geez, i dunno. the only parties i've helped to plan succussfully were an 80s prom, a fondue party, and a few quirky small birthday parties.
and what in the world should i bring for food for so many students? they know i'm spending their chinese jar money on them, so i've already been told by a few students, "i'm eating at least one yuan worth of food, cause that's what i paid for!" i was gonna bake something, something american, but... well, the ingredients didn't so much come through.
