planning ahead

oh, and i should say.

soon, i'll begin putting more time and thought into my trip to europe between china and home. i have a plane ticket to london july 14 and from london aug 17. in the month between, i have plans to backpack europe with katie, my friend from high school. here's a list of places we want to visit:

england (london, lancaster, sheffield, maybe nottingham)
scotland (edinburgh, glasgow maybe)
maybe ireland
the netherlands (amsterdam)
switzerland (the alps)
austria (vienna, salzburg)
spain (madrid)
france (paris)
italy (rome)
germany (berlin)
czech republic (prague)
poland (warsaw, wwII stuff)
greece

i know that's ambitious for four weeks, but we're still in the planning stages. we each know some people, so we'll see if we can crash on any couches. i know people in edinburgh, she does in sheffield and austria.

so some of you are from places on this list. some of you have been to places on this list. any advice? any thoughts? places i must visit, could just as well skip? money-saving tips?:) a logical order for country-visiting?

feedback, scheduling
