Hello peoples
This is the first time this summer I've felt the urge to write in this thing, and who am I to resist? Just wanted to say hi, I'm having a good summer and hope you are too. I've been mainly working at the NIH, relaxing, and spending a lot of time with my family which I've really enjoyed. At the beginning of the summer my academic motivation and drive crapped out on me, but I've managed to find new inspiration and now I'm happy and excited about things. And my family's going on a mini vacation up to Canada for a few days. Wahoo!
Livejournal has been a little quiet this summer-perhaps because its summer, perhaps because its the natural progression of things. In any case, whether I write here or not, I still check back quite frequently, so I'll pop in and say hello :)
