I don't really have that much to say...but I just wanted to update. But then again having something to say isn't really essential for an LJ update anyways, right? ;)
Lessee...what have I done recently. Went clubbing on a Sunday night with 9 am lectures Monday morning and a 6-hour practical right after. Twas fun, but not the next morning :P Went to go see a play, which I've wanted to do since I've been here because they're so many theatres around, which was good fun. Ehhhh, I'm not in the mood to go into detail, because it happened a while ago (i.e.-5 days lol).
Matriculation formal hall! Might go into that later, because that was a lot of fun. Although I've gushed about that a lot already to individual people, I might have to gush again...Later though, b/c I have lectures in a few minutes and I want to type more stuff. Getting dressed would be helpful too. I like how I'm typing my thoughts as they come to me. I'm so lame. But you were all aware of this before. Anyways...
Went out to dinner last night with a bunch of people. Obvious but important thing to do before you leave: pick the restaurant you're going to! We got tempted so much that it actually took us a half hour and a long circle around city centre to finally decide. Decided on La Tasca, this place overlooking the river that sells a zillion different tapas, from which we ordered half a zillion. Yummmm. Then we went back to someone's room (after an obligatory stop at the grocery store to buy obscene amounts of junk food) for tea and biscuits. I'm really getting into the whole tea thing; I decked out on tea stuff yesterday and I'm drinking some right now. Chocolate digestives will be the death of me. Soooooo good dipped in tea on a cold lazy morning :)
Today? Lectures in the morning (which is why I'm up so early), then shopping in town!!! I haven't even stepped into a clothing store since I've been here and they've been calling my name for three weeks now. And I desperately want an Emma scarf (like at Hogwarts, each college has their own scarf with their colors on it, as well as sweaters, sweatshirts, ties, the works). Then I think I'm going to see a movie with a huge group of people after dinner? I'll have to call people later to check, and I can do that because I have a cell phone here now!!! Happy!
