Potter weekend! (no spoilers)
So, finished Deathly Hallows yesterday. I felt compelled to drag this one out longer than previous books, seeing as this is THE LAST ONE EVER. Agh! Christian and Rob managed to finish late yesterday, which was nice, because I was BURSTING to talk about it. Talked to Alyson over IM and email (love her), but it's much easier to talk to people in person about it. I'm pleased that I kept my face impassive enough that I didn't give anything away until they were done.
So yeah, it was a good, Potter-filled weekend. Went and got the book on midnight with Rob, Christian, Kristi, Frank, and Frank's friend Stephan (who was kind of a jerk- kept threatening us with spoilers). Hiroko was in Baltimore for an anime convention, so she got the book over there. Boo. I've gotten the last two books with her and Kristi, so it didn't seem quite right without her. Still managed to have a good time though.
After we got home, Christian and Rob and I holed up in Christian's room and read until 5am. I think that will be one of my most cherished memories, reading Harry Potter with my two favorite guys until the early morning (I was glad I insisted they each get copies of their own). Rob fell asleep at one point, and thus solidified his standing as cutest person on the planet. I love his little snores that he does for the first few seconds when he falls asleep. And then I woke him up to go to sleep in my bed, and he was all mewy and cute. *squee*
