How dare you doubt me! (No, doubt me, I never finish anything, and that's because they all balloon and become impossible to finish!)

Shameful admission: I couldn't wait to read it and ended up staying up until nearly two! You are responsible for my crappy work ethic today.

That being said, you are the master of fics that are both domestic and full of pining and miscommunication, which is a fucking difficult thing to pull off. Someone else commented about how the fic feels a little claustrophobic, and I can see that, but that's not exactly it either. At the end, when you realize Draco's been living under this fog for so many years, and then its lifted and suddenly things are clearer - the whole fic has that feeling too it, like you're watching their lives through this kind of painful haze, and you just want them to be able to open their eyes and see what's clearly there.

Gorgeous, amazing storytelling. Seriously, the fact that you spend so much of your time with spreadsheets makes my heart hurt. You and the Bandit and Natty Bumppo deserve a cottage in the country with servants and sunshine and plenty of time to write. Draco can provide refreshments. <3

Well, I haven't read an HP story in maybe eight or nine years, and I haven't even made it past the fifth book, but I said to myself, "Hey, Helen wrote a new story, I should read it." I'm really glad I did. This story broke my heart, but then you healed it all back up.

Oh, this story. I kept feeling like, Oh, DRACO, this is just TOO MUCH, but then I was all "pft, who cares! I am enjoying Draco's cakes! WOO."

Anyhow, thank you for validating my self-indulgence.
