DONE!

Done. Now if my professors would just hurry up and post those grades. The last couple of days have been busy but really, really good. I went shopping with my mamacita Heather, and I will shamefully admit that I spent way, way, way too much money. After that, I had the awesomest dinner at Outback (supposedly to celebrate mine and James' b-day that are in late June). We told the waiter that it was our birthday and they gave us some free ice cream with little candles and everything. This meant a lot to me for a couple of reasons. It's been a while since my b-day has been celebrated in any other way beside just a casual "Happy B-day" from my parents, so it was nice and made me feel really special.

I spent much of Sunday worrying about my Drama 50 final. But Christina came to my rescue and went over lines with me for like five hours. Come Monday the scene with my partner was awful but poor Anthony was feeling so bad, I totaly understand and I was glad that at least he showed up. I thought my monologue went pretty well, and the other people in the class seemed to like it a lot. Yay.

So after my final, I ran some errands around campus, trying to get some paperwork in for my double major. I swear every adviser in this school is completely useless. They never tell you important stuff, and they always have this high and mighty attitude. Then, I went by the library to return some books. I never did buy my textbook for JOMC class, I just kept renewing the 1989 edition they had at the library. It worked just fine for me.

It turned out that Heather needed some serious help moving out of her dorm so I went over to lend a hand. I finaly found some use for the ton of construction workers around here. We had this huge box that, honest, I was convinced was not going to fit in her car. And it was so heavy we couldn't even lift it that well. So we wave to this one big construction guy and he basically beat that box into the car. Gosh, I will miss Heather :( But I'm really excited about going to visit her in July. It's the one thing I can look forward to this summer, because I really have no other plans...well I do have plans, I just don't have the financial means to execute said plans.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to be semi-free from school, but when I think about how mundane and boring last summer was, I'm not looking forward to it. I mean, I was working almost 40 hours a week but the routine of it all just bored the heck out of me. I don't even know what the hell I'm talking about, I'm taking one class and working, which should keep me entertained at least through the end of June. Plus, a lot of people are staying in the area. Christina's staying in Chapel Hill, Louise in Raleigh, and lots of people in Cary. All within reasonable driving distance and therefore with zero excuses to not get together....well, assuming you enjoy my company, otherwise that would be a BIG and rather significant excuse not to.

I'll be quite bored for the next couple of days, so do expect an increase in stupid and random posts (see previous post)
