My embarrassing confession is, I think Michael is innocent.
Went to a holiday pimps and hoes at HSC Friday, and a formal in Richmond with the HSC Kappa Sigs- who knew I'd voluntarily spend so much more of my time at the inspiration for my staggeringly caustic "Foreign Frat Party" poem? I have photos soon, once my krum bum roomie comes home and leads the charge to the nearest WalMart.
In the meantime, things like final projects are looming like impatient vultures on my calendar. For whatever sick, sick reason, I have made my photo thesis about riders- ingenius really, what with the lack of lighting options in the barn (I have to cater to the needs of the thousand pound beasts, naturally, and it seems that lights and flashes might frighten them). And the thesis for figure studies? Um. The figure. I'm so original it hurts.

Don't throw stones until you've heard me out (although I fully understand and appreciate well-calculated eliticism).
I don't think Michael Jackson is categorically a pedophile. In all honesty, he may be a one time or repeat offender, but I think that regardless of whatever may have actually happened with him, he is reverting back to the childhood that was robbed from him, and in doing so the logistics of his life (like age, gender, and the abundance of creepy physical characteristics) have made it (at least seem) nothing short of wrong.
I am not saying that the possibility of all the allegations being true doesn't exist, simply that there is the possibility also that he is innocent. Of course, the word "innocent" must be qualified: we can all more or less agree on the fact that Michael has some serious, sick issues. He has (a) the disease that is the basis of most eating disorders and self mutilation cases- a psychological issue that is dealt with in physical symptoms like addictive surgery, body modifications and mutilation. It can be a sense of release from personal pain, but also illustrates the persons further detachment from reality. (b) Michael had a fucked up family. He had fame, an allegedly violent father, and sibling rivalry escalate beyond the norm to life as a celebrity- rivalry for success and talent. Isn't it possible then, that given these meager estimations of his conditions based on broken media pieces of information, that there is in fact a deeper issue that has caused the schizophrenic event of childhood revertion? Children sleep in beds with their parents, with eachother, and don't necessarily have a real sexuality (making nudity completely non-threatening). Of course what he's doing is inappropriate, regardless of his possibly innocent intentions, if for no other reason than he should be treated for his own issues first and foremost.
I'm not condoning child porn, pedophilia, or Michael Jackson's actions, kids. I also know that won't stop the comments saying that I am doing exactly that are inevitable. That;s the way it rolls.
